Howdy
Before I get too far into this I want to make sure that no one has a problem with me being on this site. If you do please jsut let me know. I am not here to cause ANY problems.
For those who do not know I am Mud-dogs future ex wife.
Some of you may know I received a 1949 Willys for Christmas. I am interested in fixing it up so that I can have my own "river toy" to play with. I know that what I have to work with will not be any bigtime rock crawler but the runs that have been on have been fun and I would like to go on more. I Love working on vehicles and I am not asking anyone to do the work for me but, I also am not sure what will bolt up or work with what. I am obviiously not in any position to spend bigtime money but , I sure could use some advice to get started.
Thanks Guys

Well your "future ex-wife" comment is no longer valid since I am back home. Just wanted to update folks on the latest plans for the cJ3a. In the process of obtaining a chevy blazer to steal the 4.3 v6 motor, 700r4 auto trans and np231 transfercase. Will also take the power brakes and power steering.
